Meet the Team

Matthew Scinocca, RP

Matthew's decision to train and practice as a psychotherapist after 25 years as a guidance counsellor is due his desire to be a potential agent of change and healing in the lives of the people he works with. He has always been interested in the study of humans and the ways in which we interact and can improve how relate to each other.

Matthew works with both individuals and couples. His training in Relational Psychotherapy has allowed him to develop strong therapeutic bonds with his individual and couples clients. Matthew has also received training In Emotionally Focused Therapy as well as Internal Family Systems.

Ellie Lathrop, MSW, RSW

Ellie has always been drawn to hearing and understanding people's stories, and she sees people as the expert in their own lives. She finds this work very rewarding and appreciates the opportunity to be with people during a process of change. Ellie provides individual and family therapy. The main therapeutic interventions that inform her practice are Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Jessica Zeyl, RP

Jessica has always loved talking with people about their inner experiences and how they are navigating relationships and the world. It wasn't a big surprise to her family and friends when she chose psychotherapy for her second career. Jessica enjoys works with individuals, couples and families.

Jessica has carefully selected a team of therapists in this practice that are lovely and skilled. She is proud of them.

Therapeutically, Jessica primarily uses these evidenced-based approaches: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Relational Psychotherapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS).
